Hrithik Roshan is a true superhero. The 39-year-old star who underwent a brain surgery some months ago is now basking in the super success of his superhero movie Krrish 3. The dashing dude will start shooting soon after resting for some more time to recover fully from recurring headaches that have resurfaced.

Hrithik has now decided to take some time off before he ventures into the studios again. Putting speculation about his health issues and other matters to rest, Hrithik maintains that he needs some more time before he starts shooting for his next ventures.

“I am extremely overwhelmed by the tremendous support and love extended by everyone to Krrish 3. It’s been a great journey. Before I get ready to resume the shooting of my next, Bang Bang, in early January 2014 and later Shuddhi, as both are physically demanding, I will be taking some time off to recover completely from the recurring headaches that have resurfaced in the last couple of weeks. I am confident that your love and prayers will heal me completely. I wish everyone a great end to 2013 and a fabulous start to 2014!,” said the Roshan lad.

While Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Gori Tere Pyaar Mein hit the theatres last week, Saif Ali Khan Bullett Raja will release this Friday. So, will Bebo’s hubby’s film’s release affect her film’s box-office collections? Well, only time well tell. However, we wonder if Saifeena will be affected by it at all. Though both of them are from the same profession, Saif barely ever watches Hindi films. So, we won’t be surprised if he’s missed Bebo’s latest film too.

Kareena says, “Saif hardly sees any Hindi movie. He acts in Hindi movies but he doesn’t watch them.” That’s not all! Apparently, hubby Saifu doesn’t even know which films Bebo signs for. She says, “He doesn’t know anything about what films I am going to do. He has never asked me about what film I am doing or whom I am working with. We never discuss work at home as a rule. Same profession is not the reason why we are together today.”

Kareena says that she’s learnt to live life through her husband, Saif. She adds, “I learnt from him how to keep my personal and professional life separate.”

Who is Deepika Padukone’s most blunt critic?

Deepika Padukone doesn’t shy away from criticism. The long lady has been appreciated for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest offering Goliyon Ki Raasleela – Ram Leela, maintains that her younger sister Anisha Padukone is her most blunt critic.

She is always very honest, and “I don’t mind it,” Deepika said. ”She is very honest about her opinion. She is my most blunt critic and she speaks her heart. Even if she is criticising me, I don’t mind it because she is very honest and she wants me to do well. As far as ‘Ram Leela’ is concerned, she just loved the film,” said Deepika.

The 27-year-old, who is riding high on a string success, says she is not ready for a relationship.

“I don’t think I am ready for a relationship at the moment. I don’t think my career has anything to do with my relationship. It’s just that I am in a happy space right now and not ready to be in a relationship,” said Deepika.

Deepika Padukone is on a high with five back-to-back hits; Cocktail, Race 2, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express and now Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. And the buzz is that she is being offered the highest pay as producer’s line up to sign her and thereby making her bollywood’s best paid actress.

Trade experts believe that she is a safe bet at the ticket windows. “She can be counted in the hero’s league,” says trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Another trade expert Amod Mehra is more wary in his assessment, “Deepika has come a long way from the days of her plain Jane avatar in her debut film Om Shanti Om. Today, she is a sex goddess. She has worked her way up. She should continue to work with big stars in woman-oriented films.”

An industry inside reports that Deepika Padukone is a delight to look at and her performance has more nuances. It would be extremely difficult to figure which film to nominate her for.

Salman’s Chulbul Pandey character has become so iconic that every Bollyowod actor wants to be associated with it in some way or the other. And the latest one to join the bandwagon is Ms Mukerji

We saw Shahid Kapoor play a die-hard Salman Khan fan in his last film Phata Poster Nikhla Hero. In fact, he played a cop and it seemed as if he was trying to go the Dabangg way. Then Rishi Kapoor’s character was named Chulbul Pandey in Besharam as he too was a cop in the film. While Sasha and Rishi Kapoor’s film tried cashing in on Salman’s most loved onscreen avatar, we hear Rani Mukerji in her forthcoming film will pay a tribute to Sallu’s famous onscreen avatar.

Reportedly, the Bong beauty will dedicate a special song to the Being Human star and his Dabangg character Chulbul Pandey in Mardaani which is being produced by Yash Raj Films. That’s not all! Rani will groove to the song as well. Now wouldn’t it be interesting if Aditya Chopra’s ladylove did the trademark Dabangg step in her special dedication?

Since Rani and SK have been good friends for a long time and have shared screen space too, we aren’t surprised with the former’s gesture. But we do hope this is out of sheer love for Salman and not another promotional strategy for a film
