Ayushmann Khurrana to romance Pallavi Sharda?

A little birdie tells us that Bollywood Actor Ayushmann Khurrana will share screen space with Indo-Australian actor Pallavi Sharda in a period film. If you wondering who Pallavi is, well she is the same chick who will be romancing Ranbir Kapoor in Besharam. Lucky girl, ain’t she?

The film will be directed by debutante director Vibhu Puri. Producer Guneet Monga confirmed, “We have Pallavi and Ayushmann on board for a period love story. It is not based on any real life characters, it is a fictitious story. The film will go on floors in a couple of months. It will be shot in Mumbai.”

We also hear that the film will be set in the pre-independence era. What more, hunkalicious Ayushmann will essay the role of a British boy and Pallavi Sharda will be seen playing the role of a Maharashtrian girl… We wonder how this lad who hails from Chandigarh perfects the British accent. But, that’s least of our concerns. 

What worries us more is how Pallavi, who’s born and brought up abroad, will play the role of a Maharashtrian! Looks like the director plans to deliver some great khichdi with his film!

Priyanka Chopra: I’d love to play a bahu on TV!

“I would love to play a TV bahu. The most special thing about TV bahus is that when they go to sleep they look beautiful and when they wake up that time also they look beautiful,” quipped Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra.

“Besides, they are loaded with jewellery all the time. So why wouldn’t I want to be a bahu of that kind,” added the actor on Monday on the sets of TV serial Bade Acche Lagte Hain.

Priyanka was on the sets here with her Zanjeer co-star Ram Charan Teja. The actor admitted she doesn’t watch daily soaps but she stays updated about every show thanks to her mother and grandmother. “There are a lot of daily soap fans in my home. My grandmother, my mother, everyone watches them together. In the evening, it gets tough to talk to them at the dining table. They know the story of every TV serial and I also get to know about it because of them as they tell me everything during dinner time,” she said.
