Rakhi Spills Liquor Party Secrets!

Item girl Rakhi Sawant is contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha polls from the Mumbai North-West constituency through her newly created Rashtriya Aam Party. She accused other candidates of trying to woo away voters using unfair methods. She told the HT, "Yesterday, they called me and threatened me that they will buy all the voters within 48 hours. Then they threw a daaru (liquor) party, distributed shirts-pants, chicken biryani and Rs. 1,000 notes to the poor… ab junta toh bechari gareeb hai, toh maine unko bola, 'sabki daaru pee lo, biryani kha lo aur pant pehen lo, magar mohar sirf mirchi pe lagana' (Poor public, I asked them to accept and enjoy all that was being offered to them by various such parties, but when it comes to voting, they should vote for me."

Controversy Breaks Out Over IIFA

While Bollywood stars are gearing up for the 15th edition of International Indian Film Academy Awards, a fresh controversy has erupted against Wizcraft, the event organisers of IIFA.

A travel agent and an entrepreneur, Akarsh Kolaprath, who owns a Florida based enterprise recently filed a lawsuit again Wizcraft for 7 million dollars. He claims he spent around $2, 65,000 on making travel arrangements and consulting for the IIFA. He was even asked to manage hotel bookings for the event.

Three years ago, Akarsh through his family company 7M tours struck a deal with Andre Timmins and Viraf Sarkari of Wizcraft. The deal was to help the organisers in co-ordinating and making arrangements for hotel booking and travel.

As a part of the deal, Wizcraft promised to give them 3 percent of the entire profit. However, they later decided to cancel the services. Akarsh has now sued Wizcraft for abruptly withdrawing the deal without any reason. He claims to have incurred a loss of more than $400,000 in hotel cancellation fees and loss of the 3 percent profit.

"This has affected us very badly; we have been working on the whole thing. I was the one who introduced them (Wizcraft) to the sponsors. But suddenly after we had done all the arrangements, we got to know that they were dealing directly with the sponsors and wanted me out of the picture. Their intention is not right." He has now asked for a stay on the event till this issue is cleared. "They have been trying to reach some kind of settlement but I will go ahead with my case," NDTV quoted him as saying.

Rakhi Sawant Tries To Woo The Public In A Crazy Avatar

Rakhi Sawant, whatever her political ambitions are, steals the scene with her weird and funny publicity gimmicks. On the day of Gudi Padwa, the item girl turned political leader had something different on her mind.

In almost an insane make over, Rakhi walked around her party office with a gudi in her hand. Whoever observes already know that Rakhi can go to any extent for publicity but this one was, at the same time, weird and funny.

After Kamaal R Khan entered politics and stood for election, it sounded like a green signal for Rakhi Sawant. Suddenly the item girl formed a party on Saturday and even named it Rashtriya Aam Party (RAP). Okay, now stop laughing and listen to tons of insane stuff coming from Rakhi.

She even went far ahead to tell that she 'nurtured' North West Mumbai for past seven years without being in power. It is not clear whether Rakhi chose North West Mumbai as her place to contest only because Kamaal R Khan also contests from there!

The item dancer, whose party symbol is green chilly, said "I want to contest the Lok Sabha election to wake up the MPs from their deep sleep. Political leaders have become like rhinoceros by sucking blood of the people." Meanwhile KRK (Kamaal Rashid Khan) tweeted on Rakhi's political avatar, "If Rakhi Sawant will get more than 1000 votes then I shall leave India forever."
