Jiah Khan Suicide case: Suraj Pancholi's judicial custody extended till July 11

Judicial custody of Suraj Pancholi was extended till July 11 by a Mumbai court on Thursday.

Suraj Pancholi aged 22 and son of Bollywood Celebrity couples Aditya Pancholi and Zarina was produced before the magistrate on Thursday morning after the expiry of his judicial Custody.

During the hearing session, the police prosecutor opposed Suraj Bail plea since the problems in the case is in a critical state and releasing him on bail could hinder the investigations.

He will continue to be lodged in the Arthur Road Central Jail till his bail plea comes up.

Suraj was nabbed after a note written by Jiah blamed him for the suicide.

Bollywood actor Suraj pancholi judicial custody ends today. Suraj Pancholi was arrested on Jaih Khan Suicide case. To seek bail in the case Suraj had moved to Bombay High court on Wednesday.

Last week a session court rejected Suraj Bail plea, saying that prima facie Jiah had been mentally abused by him. He was arrested on the charge of abetting the suicide of Jiah Khan.

High court is likely to hear the bail application on July 5.
