Has Ajay Devgn changed his name?

Bollywood celebrity Ajay Devgn can now be officially called Action Jackson! And before you let you thoughts run haywire, let us tell you that AJ (as he’s fondly called in his close circles) has not changed his name. Ajay’s next film with Prabhudeva now finally has the perfect title to go with Action Devgn. Apparently the actor has borrowed the first two initials of his name AJ, and came up with the title Action Jackson. We hear this action hero’s Blackberry shows his name as AJ, isn’t that like starting the promotions a little too early?

We also hear that this Action Jackson will not have one or two ladies to romance, but three of them – Sonakshi Sinha, Yaami Gautam and a sexy chic who is being kept strictly under the wraps. Well, AJ and Mr Deva, don’t be surprised if we at BollywoodLife will be the first ones to bust this top secret!

 

Aamir Khan endorses Raanjhanaa

Bollywood Actor Aamir Khan Messaged Producer Krishika Lulla, praising her about her latest film Raanjhanaa. The film was directed by Aananad L Raj casting Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol and was released last week. 

To confirm the reports, Krishika Lulla said that, “Yes Aamir dropped me a message as he watched the the promo and really liked it… It’s a huge compliment coming from someone like Aamir Khan, who is a perfectionist at his work. He also said that he is looking forward to watching the movie and this feedback from him is very encouraging”.

The actor cum filmmaker also posted about the film on his official Facebook Page.

Raanjhanaa Review: Regressive Story with a romantic hero of a rare breed

Raanjhanna is a Romantic love story that does not fall within the confines of a dull Bollywood Romance.

A good show from everyone in the film and Dhanush projects excellence whenever he appears on the screen. Dhanush has got all the eyes of the watcher as a romantic hero in his Hindi debut and not with the look of a Bollywood Hero. Sonam Kapoor seems to have bettered her acting skills and she looks quite convincing before and after interval.

The dialogues have been sketched down soundly. Dialogues are convincing making the characters of the movie impressionable.  

A.R. Rahman's soundtrack is music to the ears and the film is rightly filled with song and dance sequences. The ones that are truly likeable are 'Piya Milenge', 'Tum Tak', the title track and 'Tu Mun Shudi,' which, by the way, is quite similar to 'Dhakka Laga Bukka' from Mani Ratnam's 'Yuva'.

Be it for its technical pros or for Dhanush's Bollywood debut, 'Raanjhanaa' makes for a good watch this weekend.

Deepika Padukone to perform at IIFA awards in Macau

Deepika Padukone to perform at IFFA awards in Maca by performing on her hit numbers like 'Tumhi ho bandho' and 'Balam pichkaari' at the upcoming 14th IIFA awards in Macau this July 6.

The 27-year-old actress will set the stage ablaze by showcasing some of her signature moves from the recent hit songs like 'Angreezi beats, 'Tumhi ho bandho' and 'Balam pichkaari'.

"Im thrilled to be performing at the IIFA this year. I will be performing to some of my favorite songs from my recent release 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' and 'Cocktail'. This will also be my first visit to Macau and I hope my fans enjoy my performance," Deepika said in a statement here.

Sonam, Dhanush in Raanjhanaa – Aamir Khan is impressed with their appearance

Krishika Lulla, producer of Raanjhanna is delighted to see the latest buzz in the Bollywood of his Upcoming Bollywood Movie Raanjhanaa. Now for an excited reason, she is on cloud nine – Aamir Khan has recently sent her a message, praising the movie’s first look and music.

Krishika says, “He saw the promo and appreciated it. He messaged saying that he was looking forward to watching the movie. It’s really kind of him to say such good things.”

She says that, “A compliment coming from Aamir is a big deal for me. He is such a brilliant actor. This means I am on the right track.”

Aamir khan has not only message Kirshika but also has posted about the film in his official Facebook page. He worte, “Hey! Just saw the trailer of Raanjhanaa. Looks really exciting. You guys have seen it? Really liked Dhanush, Sonam and Zeeshan Ayub. And music is fantastic. Looking forward to the film”
